Make-ramé™ Kit - Tassels

This is the first time I have ever done macrame and this project made it easy to learn. Once you get the hang of the different knots, it's pretty smooth sailing!

I had two sent to me and they were so easy to follow and relaxing to do. Loved this so much I extended my forst kit and ordered two additional kits!!! My hope is for more seasonal patterns and colors to come out.

I had purchased a few of the Solid Oak, Inc mini Make-rame kits and had enjoyed doing them so thought I would give a larger kit a try. The instructions were illustrated and easy to understand and I was able to make this 12 inch by 32 inch wall hanging in one weekend. The natural macrame cord is nice quality and holds knots well. All you need is a ruler and a pair of scissors. They give you plenty of cord so you can add your own personal touches to the project if you want. I made the bottom portion a little differently and did not use the included copper tubes preferring wood beads instead to use on the tassels. I am pleased with how my wall hanging turned out.

Perfect kit. Loved making it.

I did trade out the wire for the tassels to cord. After attaching and tying off on the back, I trimmed the knots and glued. The wire was too stiff for me to work with.

I love these kits. I have made two. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the final product is beautiful. Highly recommend.
