    Awesome eyes!

    Love these eyes! I use them in my Steampunk jewelry designs and get great feedback from my customers. I wire wrap the eyes, attach them to gears and create pendants and earrings.

    Bead holes?

    Nicki Epstein’s book Knit a Square, Create A Cuddly Creature, calls for this exact product for eyes for Drake the Dragon. The directions say to sew on the eyes. I don’t know where the holes are.

    We were not familiar with this book. It looks great! However, if the book's writer/publisher suggested Solid Oak Steampunk brand Dragon Eyes specifically as items to be sewn on, they perhaps didn't do all of their homework. Our glass, flat-back eyes do not have holes drilled for sewing. It's a good idea... and one for us to consider for the future. For now, without holes, they are perfect for use in jewelry, scrapbooking, and other accessories where holes might be less attractive. Thanks for the comment!
